On the pistes too the Krippenstein shines with special ski qualities – easy pistes for warming up, and learning how to ski on the mountain and in the valley, in between the demanding, and at eleven kilometres in length, the longest run in Austria!
It is not just fans of powder snow and snowboard pros who hold the Krippenstein in high regard, skiers too, who like well- prepared and deserted pistes, also have perfect carving fun on the "Stoa". What makes the loveliest mountain in the Dachstein massif so special too on piste is its high Alpine setting, and an impression of being a bit rough, and the empty pistes – attributed to the eternal insider tip status of the Krippenstein and the fact that freeriders are not to be found on the pistes of course ;))!
Off piste fans should have no qualms about bringing their non-deep snow loving friends and family with them – since there is also a small – yet perfectly formed – offer for beginners and children on the Krippenstein.
Even more pistes!
Naturally Krippenstein also has modern snow-making facilities. Our professional preparations team have been working on the Krippenstein for years and know every stone - suitably perfectly prepared ski runs await.
Incidentally, the ski lodge density of the Krippenstein ski run almost beats the record length of the ski run! For the lazybones among you, ‘hut-hopping’ is also organised for you – there you can wait on your freeriding friends and listen to fantastic tales about the perfect powder snow ...
If you want to submit your descent on video – there is a fantastic upload area on the Krippenstein Video page!
