Who would have thought it – even the most beautiful mountain in the world can still be improved! We hope you enjoy the snow shoe offensive, improved artificial snow facilities on the valley descent and the continuation of the freeride taster courses with Outdoor Leadership!

This year, the Krippenstein has even more excitement to offer snow shoe visitors: the popular World Heritage Spiral viewing platform will now be open in winter for the first time! The platform with its photo point and unbelievable views of the Hallstatt Glacier, Hallstatt and Hallstätter See lake is accessible safely and securely via a supervised trail.

Changes have also been made to the valley descent: improved artificial snow facilities are not only being used in the valley area, they can also now be applied to systematically eradicate any weak spots in the snow covering.

Following the great interest shown in the freeride taster courses last year, a new edition has been organised this year – of course, including the guides from Outdoor Leadership and equipment from Dachsteinsport Janu.
